The GI Bill (except DEA) is available for Flight Training such as:

• Rotary wing qualification

In order to qualify, you must have a private pilot's license (rotor wing or fixed wing) and a valid 2nd class medical certification before beginning training. VA will reimburse you for 60% of the approved charges.

Payments are issued after the training is completed and the school submits information to the VA.
