Dominican Republic NVG Qualified!

Captain Harold Jimenez Polanco and First Officer Danilo Jorge Grullon Have successfully completed their initial Night Vission Goggle qualification through Longhorn Helicopters. They made the journey to the North Texas area after their OH-58's were NVG modded by Aero Dynamix of Euless, TX. Longhorn is the sole source provider of NVG Training for customers of Aero Dynamix offering both the Bell 206 and Sikorsky S-300 for initial NVG qualification. While other companies have the S-300 with a "Night Vision Panel" Longhorn has the first and currently the only with an STC for the night vision modification, making it substantially more cost efficient for initial training. However, Being as Harold and Danilo mainly fly the OH-58 they chose to do their training in the Bell 206 under the instruction of Brent Thomson. They are currently in Haiti aiding in the relief of the massive earthquake that devastated the nation in January.
